Get ready for the opposite of complicated..
It’s the greatest little appetizer for any party.  3 ingredients, guys.
I tend to be a sceptic of canned food, but I used premium salmon and it was excellent!  It can usually be found at most grocers. My thoughtful mama sent me a care package, including her salmon dip recipe! She’s been bringing it to parties and it’s always a hit.  She’s quite the genius with food.  Also, with solving all of your last minute “bring a snack” party invitations:)

Here’s the recipe. I just added the green onions for flare and flavor!

MAMA’S SALMON DIP
1 can salmon, drained  (I think mine was 6oz.  a bit larger than a tuna can)
1 package cream cheese, softened (8 oz)
2 green onion stalks,
chopped 1/4 tsp salt (+or-)
1/4 tsp pepper (+or-)

Soften the cream cheese for only 15-20 seconds – not completely.  Smooth it out in a bowl and stir in the salmon and green onion.  Sprinkle salt and pepper. Spread it all together and sprinkle a couple pieces of green onion on top for the pretties.

So, this can be made into a cheese ball, covered in plastic wrap and refrigerated overnight. OR just put it in a bowl as dip.  I did the dip. It was spectacular.
Serve with your favorite cracker for a pre-dinner snack or party appetizer!
