At most grocery stores you can find a variety of goat cheese with herbs, or fruits, etc. But most of the time, a small 4 oz of these goat cheese varieties is hefty on the grocery budget. I’ve learned it’s way better to make you’re own!
You just buy plain soft goat cheese and mix in your ingredients…be creative!:)
Costco has a pack of two 10.5 oz plain fresh goat cheeses for $7.87. (typically its $4-$5 for 4 oz at king soopers)
It’s a great deal!
- 10.5 oz goat cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberry
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pistachios
- 1 TBSP honey
Mix it all together and form it back into a roll or a ball.
Serve this with sesame crackers (they’re the best!) and a bottle of Merlot.
Délicieux!
