Of all the elaborate recipes you may be conspiring for the holidays, I must bring up a very important life lesson on food.
My dad had this admirable dedication to late night toast with peanut butter and jam. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.
Yes, sure, PB&J is a fine fine concoction. But I learned better.
Peanut butter and chocolate, better.
1/4 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp coconut oil
Melt in the microwave 15 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until its a soft smooth texture. Spread it all over that crispy toast and you have yourself a small dose of happiness.
Cheers to late night snacking! Or breakfasting! Whatever, you pick:)
