Apple Fig Berry Flats

In this sticky New York August weather, meals around here have become increasingly minimalistic. Cooking and baking requires much heat and my AC unit is already working overtime.

ALSO… the Mr. and I are catching a flight to breezy dry Colorado tonight. Two heat escapees.
PRAISES.

I made these for breakfast yesterday.. they were crisp, creamy, fresh, and light.
Here’s the basics!

INGREDIENTS:
Apples, sliced (toss in lemon juice to avoid browning, dry with paper towel)
Almond Butter for spreading
dried figs, chopped
fresh blueberries
honey for drizzling

The ingredients are fun to play with, be as artistic as you’d like! I drizzled with honey at the end, and even cinnamon would be great on top!
