YES Cookies

I know my recipe titles are weird, but really. If you had one of these cookies, you would understand.  You cannot say no to these.

Also, I’m a firm believer in chocolate. This is my source:

Turns out, here’s the trick. These chocolate chocolate chip cookies are not my own recipe, I just renovated the Original Tollhouse Recipe. Gave it a makeover, if you will.
As you might recall from my post, almost exactly a year ago, my friend Molly used to make the most AMAZING chocolate chip cookies, when we were in college together.
She gave me her secret:  Original Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, PLUS an additional 1 cup flour, PLUS additional 1 tsp vanilla.

YES Cookies

  • First: follow Molly’s secret instructions (Original Tollhouse recipe +1c. flour +1tsp vanilla)
  • Second: Since chocolate is perfect, and since I’m a genius, here’s what I did:  recipe calls for 2 c. chocolate chips. I melted 1 cup (added to the egg/sugar/butter batter. Say that 10 times real fast)  …and used the other 1 cup just as regular chips, mixed into the completed batter at the end.
  • Bake them for only 10 minutes. They won’t look ready, but they are.

My work here is done. :)

  1. Amazing! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a totally different
topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Wonderful choice of colors!
