Well it’s official. Groceries are expensive out here.
In our current location, we have one just 2 stops away on the L train! Hallelu.
We made French Toast for breakfast this week. Shnazz it up with some orange zest or extract, and boom. You have one spectacular breakfast!
In a bowl: a few eggs, dash of vanilla and cinnamon, dash of brown sugar(or honey), pinch of salt, orange zest or orange extract. Whisk away.
Then you’ll dip the sliced bread so there are no dry spots left, and cook it on the stove top, in a buttered pan. Cover it so all the gooey bread gets cooked.
Sift powdered sugar on top.. it’s a quick boost to the fancy-ness level:) Serve these with fresh raspberries and maple syrup.

In other news, I accepted a job on Friday and begin later this week… Eeee! I’m excited and nervous and thankful, all at once! Whew these emotions are exhausting, ha. Walks at Central Park help with that :)
