My Vitamix is a member of my kitchen that provides endless food possibilities and basically a daily dose of happiness. This makes me sound like a kitchen gadget nerd. I am one.
The taste of the tropics can happen in an assortment of ways. I try to keep frozen pineapple in my freezer, regularly. It serves as an excellent fruit base especially if you like the pretty green color of smoothie, by adding spinach or kale.
Refreshing tropical smoothies are PERFECT for breakfast. It makes me want to close my eyes and imagine living back in Hawaii, lying on a warm sunny beach. I suppose there’s no better time to do this sort of daydreaming, than smack dap in the middle of winter.

TROPICAL SUPERFOOD SMOOTHIE BOWL
2 cups frozen pineapple
1/4 cup fresh spinach
*1/4 cup raw almond milk
2 TBSP raw cashew butter
1/4 avocado
2 TBSP honey
1 TBSP coconut oil
TOPPINGS:
coconut chips
fresh blueberries
(*if your blender has trouble with thicker textures, you can add more almond milk as needed.)
Blend and boom.
Drink it through a straw or spoon it in a bowl, while dancing the Hula to Luau music from your Spotify.
