It’s not the weekend yet, but I’m already thinking about it. Weekends for A & I usually yield lazy Saturdays, with not alot of official meals… just plenty of random snacking. Does anyone relate?
You see, quality snacking is key:) And there are so many ways to be creative..and/or healthy (if you’re into that sort of thing) ;)
My creative, funny, beautiful, loving, brave, confident, adventurous sister, Leah, made these bite-sized power snacks. And check out her photography skillzzz. (hi leah!)
It’s a combo from heaven. Like POW in your mouth. Whatever that means.
Avocado Snack Stacks
- fresh cucumber, peeled and sliced
- Smoked Turkey
- Gouda Cheddar, sliced
- Ripe Avocado, (mashed: salt, pep, garlic, tiny splash lemon juice)
An easier way to assemble them (especially if you’re taking them to a party) is to start with a cucumber slice, then fold the turkey a few times to fit on cucumber, top with a slice of gouda, and finally, a spoonful of avocado. Trap it all together with a toothpick in the middle.
