Baguette with Prosciutto, White Fig, & Mozzarella

Recently, Andy and I took a long walk with our friends to this local Brooklyn market, called Depanneur. They serve all sorts of sandwiches so I went out on a limb with my order…Proscuitto.  Something I’m hardly well aquainted with.  It always seemed so fancy and weird. Well, turns out this sandwich was bomb.

Here is my recreated replica and I take none of the genius-ness credit.  It was just repeat worthy.

You’ll need:
Baguette or Roll
Proscuitto
Fresh Mozzarella
Fig Jam
Salt & Pepper
Slice the baguette, butter the inside and grill on a skillet for a couple minutes.
Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset
Then layer it up, amigos.

It’s been stupid cold in New York, so all the more reason to make this winner from home.
Cheers to a great week, and being 4 days away from a flight to Colorado:)

from my Tiny Kitchen,
